Captioned Images Series: I've Got Something To Tell You Created: 09/25/2024 ![]() In the quiet kitchen, the soft hum of the refrigerator fills the space as Alex’s mother, Claire, stands by the counter, waiting. She decided to dress up for the occasion wearing a satin pink blouse, a pleated skirt, black pantyhose, and heels. She even covered her face with makeup, something she rarely did, except for a little lipstick and blush from time to time. She glanced at the clock on the wall. Her heart races, knowing this conversation will change everything, but it’s something she’s been building up to for months The sound of the front door closing signals Alex’s return. He had completed packing his car for the drive to the college. He steps into the kitchen, his backpack slung over one shoulder, looking up at her with a curious smile. "Hey, Mom," Alex says, dropping his bag by the table. "Everything okay? Why are you dressed like that?" Claire takes a deep breath and moves toward him, her footsteps steady but heavy with the weight of what she’s about to say. She gently places a hand on his arm, guiding him to sit at the kitchen table. “Alex, we need to talk,” she begins softly, sitting across from him. “I’ve been thinking about this for a long time.” Alex looks at her, his brow furrowing in confusion. “What’s going on?” Claire hesitates, gathering her thoughts. "I’m leaving your father," she finally says, the words hanging in the air. Alex blinks, clearly taken aback. “I’ve realized... I need to start over. For myself.” Alex looks down at the table, the weight of her words sinking in. "You're... leaving Dad?" he asks, his voice quiet, processing the shock. Claire nods, her eyes soft but determined. “Yes. And I’m going to do something I’ve always wanted to do. I’m going to college. I’m going to build a new life for myself.” Alex stares at her, clearly trying to understand. “You’re going to college? But... you always took care of me and Dad. You never mentioned anything about this before.” She smiles, a touch of sadness mixed with hope. “I didn’t realize how much I put my dreams on hold. Watching you grow up, and now seeing you ready to head off to college yourself, it made me realize I want that too. I want to learn, explore, and find out who I am. I've never been happy being a woman, I'm going to...” Alex rubs his hands together, still processing. “But... how are you going to do it? Won’t it be hard?” "I'm going to take your body. I'm not going to be a woman anymore. I'm going to be the young man. You like your dad so much, you can stay with him as his wife." "You're talking gibberish." "No, I'm not. This is what I want. I'm going to be a young man. I'll move into the dorm and start a new life. You'll be me in my body. YOu can stay with dad, or leave him. I don't care." The talk took a turn to the bizarre from Alex's perspective. he turned to walk away. It was then that he felt strange like he was about to lose consciousness. When he returned to awareness, he was seeing the back of his own body. "What that..." he brought his hands to hs throat as he heard the high-pitched voice of his mother coming from his mouth. He looked down at his hands. The first thing he noticed was his painted nails. Then he noticed his fingers were thinner than he remembered. Under his hands, he saw the satiny pink blouse that his mother was wearing. Then his breasts underneath his shirt. It only took two seconds before he realized what had happened. "This is impossible," Alex shouted. "Obviously not!" Claire replied, turning around in Alex's body. "Turn us back!" "No, I've made my decision. I'm going to be the man I should have been." "You can't do this to me. What am I going to do?" "Anything you want." "I'll tell Dad!" "Go ahead, he won't believe you. Even if he did, there isn't anything he or you can do about it. You're a woman now. As far as anyone knows you are Claire Ohrman." "I can't be this." "Better you than me." "You're evil." "No, I'm not. I'm just fed up. I've been a woman for 42 years. Now it's your turn." "This isn't fair." "It wasn't fair for me either." Claire countered. No matter what Alex said, Claire had a retort. There wasn't anything he could do about it. He was stuck in his mother's life. Alex in an act of desperation, took out his phone (technically it was Claire's phone) and phoned his dad. Claire used that opportunity to pick up Alex's backpack, walk to Alex's car and drive away. End Made with Stable Diffusion AI Image Generator |
